So its been a few days...

And Ive been pretty damn busy.  I slept in for the first time today since last sunday...crazy.  I went to "fish camp", which was a complete waste of time, i just sat in the back room and played guitar for like 8 hours...which i couldve done at home.  I started geometry b summer school, and was nicknamed "big butt" by the latinas in my class.  I had Caliente practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night.  They werent so bad, just a few new kids have to get their shit kicked into shape for this coming weekend in Dallas.

Yesterday Matt gave me a rude awakening my grabbing my ass and whispering "get up sexy".  I swear hes using Meghan as a cover up (j/k).  I got dressed up real hardcore and went to the History photo shoot.

So we were at the photo shoot right? This Security guitar drives up to the top of the parking garage where we were originally taking pictures, and says something muffled by the wind.  We were like "What???" and he was like "I DINT STUTTA"  and then like some oriental and a old geezer rent-a-cop show up and theyre all like flipping out about us trespassing.  GHETTO. They like escorted us down and had like people following the elevator down stairs and met us at the bottom.  Then the guy starts going nuts and calling us smart-asses and stupid shit.  So the girl taking pictures calmed them down and we left, but laughed alot about it.  If you're a rent-a-cop, please do society a favor and take out your anger in more useful ways than screaming at kids for trespassing in a functional parking garage.  messed up...

Yeah then matt and i wasted alot of time at Dustins with the band and that chick, and ate at chili's and ate dinner for his Gma's bday, then i bought a book at Barnes and Nobles about spirtiual connections between the guitar and the body playing it...it sounds stupid but its really interesting.

Well thats it for now, haller.

Okie Dokie,

So I just got home from the Hargrove's lakehouse on Lake Travis.  We left Thursday last week and just chilled and had fun for the whole weekend. We did alot of fun things, like get stopped by lake patrol, ride the boat and jet ski really fast, sit around and tell funny stories, eat ALOT, fish (more so Matt than anyone else, despite him catching only a footlong catfish the whole trip), play cards (mark is a baller),  have shock-pen fights, watch some gnarly storms late at night, tell scary stories, tanned, laugh alot, amongst other things...it was fun.

But unfortunately, life isnt that fun all the time...for now.

I got home to get stuck with a big problem, and that is...what am i going to do this summer.  "Fish Band Camp" starts tommorow, and i dont know why im attending it, but I was asked to.  I have to make up Geometry B...which i failed by like a 69 for alot of stupid reasons.  The latin jazz group, Caliente, that i play guitar for is practicing like crazy, and next weekend im supposed to play a gig in Dallas with them.  Then I think I have the jazz workshop basically the rest of June and July is guna be pretty packed...I gotta make some serious decisions.  I also am going to Tbarm at some point and hopefully on a beach vacation AND SURFING!

I might go wakeboarding with Cody this weekend...awesome.

Ill update when new things happen...like i do...you know how i do.

mk...

So i just got back from The Finalist show at the engine room...phenomenal....

I honestly love that band.  Theyre so talented and write the catchiest, most honest and meaningful songs.  Out of the rock major label industry, I could safely say that they are my favorite...even though they havent even released a record yet and are from my city...and my ex used to date the guitarist haha. "Dont cry it's almost over, oh angel can't you see, just what you mean to me"

...love

I tanned today and it was fun.  I layed out in the pool for like 2 hours and soaked.  Then Matt came over like freakishly early in SUCH A HURRY, just to sit in my room and listen to all my songs on my computer.  Then, we picked up Meghan and Kara and went to the Meridian to see History.  It was baller, and some Hawaiian Tropic girl was trying to seduce me into buying a 15 dollar t-shirt after repeatedly informing her that i only had 10.  Akward.  So then we went to The Finalist, with Morningside Drive, Glass Intrepid, and this band from Dallas...cant remember the name.  All of em sounded good, but The Finalist were amazing.  Im proud.

My driving teacher eats way more Cheetos than is normal or healthy.

I licked Karas ear and she had a gnarly infection...which ended up being neither normal or healthy...just kidding.

Matt eats women's meal bars...which isnt normal, but definitely healthy.

Im writing random shit in Xanga at 1:36, which isnt normal, and definitely NOT healthy, so im out.

So its Monday...

I woke up this morning, and my wrist was swollen bigtime.  (For those of you who are uninformed, my right wrist was fractured a little over a year ago, and i suffer from tendinitis until further notice.)  This sucks, reason being that i'm a musician and i like working out and playing basketball.  These three activities are seriously influenced by a effed up wrist.  So, I scheduled an appointment with an acupuncture doctor my mom reccomended.  Im freaking out.  First of all, i'm not even 100% sure my problem IS tendinitis, considering 3 other doctors told me completely different things.  Secondly, apparently this guy is like an herb guy, and perscribed my mom drinking so many glasses of water and taking these herbal supplements for her back.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just that this is my damn wrist!  Probably one of the most vital parts of my life.  I dont want some middle aged guy with a pony tail exorcising my hand, while passing me a hit from the peace pipe he made while studying the beauty of cannibis in the deep forests of Papua New Guinea.  Sorry...that was off.  Well I'm about to head out, so ill catch yall later.

Much Love,

AlexXx

- I just got back from the chiropractor, and it was really cool.  I was really apprehensive, as you could tell, but it went surpisingly well.  The guy was a musician, and even better, a GUITARIST.  So he and i got along quite well.  His office was a little house built in 1913, somewhere in the middle of River Oaks.  I walked in and there was hawiian guitar background music, artificial waterfalls, Buddhas, and beautiful flowers and vines everywhere.  I felt like i was in Japan.  When i walked in his office, he gave me a cup of chinese herbal health tea, which to my surprise, was really good.  I had to answer a booklet of questions, mostly beside the point of my visit.  Some were really akward too, like "Do you have troubles having an erection?", and "Do you find sexual intercourse as exiting as when you were younger?".  I laughed.  Then i wrote next to it "never been better".  So he made me take off my shoes and socks, and then tested my body energy.  My right wrist had really low energy, which was really intresting.  After all the testings and questions,  he whipped out "the machine" and performed acupuncture on my wrist and face for sinus.  I felt like i was in heaven when i left that place.  Then i got Chipotle, realized that its pronounced chi-POAT-le, and came home.  Now im listening to Miles Davis and John Coltrane, and playing with a wrist strengthening ball...Its a good time.

Whats up gang...

So heres the deal, i made one of these 345 days ago, put about 4 or 5 entries in, and didnt visit it for about 338 days.

...the aftermath

I read a bunch of peoples, being bored on a sunday afternoon, and decided that xanga is an exiting thing.  So whenever im bored, like today, i just might put something in here so that other people, who are also bored, can feel like they know whats going on in my life.

I embarked on a trek to austin yesterday with my dad, and we ended up at my brother's wedding shower.  It was a skeet shooting party. Can you say redneck?  It was neat.  I blew, but it was a good time regardless.  I got to spend some quality time with my dad, which was totally freaking awesome.

I only have 5 months and 3 weeks till my license is in the bag.  Thats a long time.  Next week im vising HSPVA to see how they roll, and see where i will be recieving my high school education in about 5 weeks.  My summer, as of now, is COMPLETELY swamped with Caliente, but well see about that.  Im going to Puerto Rico, and it will be glorious.

Much love,

AlexXx
